Star schools secure National Support School status

Two more schools within the Star family have officially been recognised as system leaders.

The Olive School, Blackburn and TIBHS have both been designated as National Support Schools and, alongside other Star schools that have previously been awarded System Leader recognition, will now play a significant role in raising standards and improving outcomes, both in the local area and beyond. Both schools have been rated as Outstanding by Ofsted.

Star is committed to ensuring that all of its schools work in collaboration with local schools and organisations and attaining NSS status provides a fantastic opportunity for the Trust’s talented staff to share best practice and deliver expert improvement support.

Mufti Hamid Patel CBE, Chief Executive of Star Academies, extended his congratulations to the schools’ Principals – Julie Bradley and Mubaaruck Ibrahim – who were both selected as National Leaders of Education.
