Recognition scheme launched to celebrate Star achievements
Star Academies has launched a new recognition scheme to celebrate the outstanding achievements of its pupils and staff.
The Star Letters scheme will shine a spotlight on the accomplishments of pupils and employees who go the extra mile in their day-to-day endeavours. Individuals and teams will be recognised for demonstrating or achieving something exceptional and for exemplifying our STAR values. These remarkable accomplishments and success stories will be shared across the Star community and beyond.
Recipients will receive a personal letter of congratulations from Star’s Chief Executive, Mufti Hamid Patel. Pupils will also be awarded with a certificate of achievement. The exemplary endeavours of those awarded a Star Letter will be publicised across the Trust and its 24 schools to celebrate their achievements and inspire others.
With 60 nominations received within a fortnight of the scheme’s launch, staff have embraced the opportunity to nominate their pupils and peers for recognition.
Mufti Hamid Patel, Chief Executive of Star Academies, said:
“Every day I hear remarkable examples of pupils and staff embodying our STAR values. Our Star Letters recognition scheme provides a new platform to celebrate the wonderful people who enrich our organisation and who inspire others to be their best. I look forward to reading about our pupils’ and colleagues’ extraordinary achievements and to share their success stories across the Star community.”
